April 11, 2025- A 48-hour curfew extension has been imposed in sections of Retreat, St. Mary. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11 and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 13.
The communities that are affected are Retreat Content, Davis Town, Pond Side, Charles Town, Ross Common, Three Hills, Industry Pen Housing Scheme, Liberty Estate Housing Scheme Phase 1 & 2, Spring Valley, Valley Bush, and St. Mary Country Club.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
North: From the Prospect Gulf main road in the vicinity of the Charles Town to Spring Valley
East: From Spring Valley to a section in Retreat Content
South: From Retreat Content to Three Hills in the vicinity of the Liberty Estate Housing Scheme
West: From Three Hills back to Prospect Gulf main road near Charles Town
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
