April 25, 2025- A 48-hour curfew that was imposed in sections of Retreat, Bailey’s Vale and Boscobel in St. Mary has been extended. The curfew will continue at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, April 25, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
The areas affected are as follows:
– Retreat Content
– Davis Town
– Pond Side
– Charles Town
– Ross Common
– Three Hills
– Industry Pen Housing Scheme
– Liberty Estate Housing Scheme Phase 1 & 2
– Spring Valley
– Valley Bush
– St. Mary Country Club
The boundaries areas are as follows:
North: From the Prospect Gulf main road near Charles Town to Spring Valley.
East: From Spring Valley to a section in Retreat Content.
South: From Retreat Content to Three Hills near the Liberty Estate Housing Scheme.
West: From Three Hills back to Prospect Gulf main road near Charles Town.
Bailey’s Vale in Port Maria:
North: From Wycliffe Martin High School to Bailey’s Vale main Road vicinity JPS tower.
East: Along Bailey’s Vale main road vicinity of the JPS tower to the top of Gray Street.
South: From the top of Gray Street to the intersection of Tracy Street and Church Street.
West: From the intersection of Tracy Street and Church Street to Wycliffe Martin High School.
Boscobel in St. Mary:
North: Along the Boscobel main road in the vicinity of Gully Road crossing. An imaginary line runs east along the Boscobel main road in the vicinity of the Boscobel Basic School.
East: Along a section of the Boscobel main road in the vicinity of the Boscobel Basic School extending south to a section of Capture-land in the Boscobel View Housing Scheme.
South: Section of Capture-land in the Boscobel View Housing Scheme extending west to a section along Gully Road in the vicinity of Gully Road and Boscobel View main road intersection.
West: Section of Gully Road and Boscobel main road intersection an imaginary line runs north to a section of the Boscobel main road in the vicinity of Gully Road crossing.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
