April 06, 2025- A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections Old Road, Thompson Pen, Spanish Town, St. Catherine. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 8.
The Boundaries of the curfew are:
North: From Thompson Pen Old Bridge travelling alongside the Riverbank
to the Riverbank Road.
South: From the Thompson Pen main road/Greendale to the intersection of the
Traffic light at the Greendale main road and the Thompson Pen main road.
East: From the riverbank/Rio Cobre to the Thompson Pen main road to the vicinity of Greendale.
West: From the traffic light Greendale main road and Thompson Road about to Thompson Pen Old Bridge.
During the hours of the curfew, persons are to remain in their premises and should not leave nor enter the curfew zone without the permission of the ground commander enforcing the curfew.
