April 09, 2025- A curfew that has been imposed within the St. Andrew South Division has been extended. The curfew began at midnight, Wednesday, April 9 and will remain in effect until midnight, Friday, April 11.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
EAST: An imaginary line at Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue traveling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive
SOUTH: An imaginary line from the coastline at Marcus Garvey Drive vicinity East Avenue to Duhaney River
WEST: An imaginary line from the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbor
NORTH: An imaginary from Happy Grove community drawn to Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue intersection following the divisional boundary.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorized by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
