April 11, 2025- A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Retreat, St. Mary. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11 and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 13.
The communities that are affected are Tank Lane, Marson Town, and Crooked River
Marson Town, Oracabessa:
East: along Airy Hill Main Road: From the vicinity of Heaven Gate Gospel Chapel, extending 210 meters to the entrance of Marson Town.
North: along an imaginary line: Extending 350 meters from the Marson Town entrance to a section of the community.
West: along an imaginary line: Extending 380 meters from Marson Town to Coleraine Roadway, near Oracabessa High School.
South: along an imaginary line: Extending 430 meters from Coleraine Roadway back to Heaven Gate Gospel Chapel.
Tank Lane, Oracabessa:
East: along Canoe Pond Roadway: From the Oracabessa Main Road intersection, extending 490 meters to the entrance of Faith Lane.
South: along an imaginary line: Extending 260 meters from Faith Lane to a section of the Tank Lane community.
West: along an imaginary line: Extending 290 meters from Tank Lane to the Oracabessa Bus Park.
North: along an imaginary line: Extending 300 meters from the Oracabessa Bus Park back to the Oracabessa Main Road intersection.
Crooked River, Annotto Bay
East along an imaginary line: From Point A located near the Paulwell Texico gas station, extending to Point B near the entrance to Marking Stone Beach.
South-East: along an imaginary line: From Point B near the entrance to Marking Stone Beach, continuing to within a section of the Gibraltar Housing Scheme.
North: along an imaginary line: From Point C, following a path through a section of Ross Drive in Gibraltar Housing Scheme, returning to Point A at the Paulwell Texaco gas station, thereby closing the perimeter.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
