April 25, 2025 – The 48-hour curfew that was imposed in sections of the St .Andrew North Police Division on Wednesday, April 23 has been extended to another 48 hours. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, April 25 and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27.
The boundaries for the curfew are as follows:
North: From the intersection of Red Hills Road and Pennant Terrace to the intersection of Pennant Terrace and Pennant Drive.
East: From the intersection of Pennant Terrace and Pennant Drive to the intersection of Pennant Drive and Whitehall Avenue.
South: From the intersection of Pennant Drive and Whitehall Avenue to the intersection of Whitehall Avenue and Red Hills Road.
West: From the intersection of Whitehall Avenue and Red Hills Road to the intersection of Red Hills Road and Pennant Terrace.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorized by the ground commander.
