March 01, 2021 – Twenty-eight-year-old Xavier Hodges who was charged with Receiving Stolen Property is to face the St. Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday, March 2 to answer to the charges.
Hodges, a technician of Bradley Avenue, Kingston 10 was charged following an operation that was carried out in the area by members of the St. Andrew Central Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) on Thursday, February 18.
During the operation, a premises occupied by Hodges was searched and several stolen items to include laptops and cellular phones were seized. He was charged after he failed to give substantial information as it relates to the items found in his possession.
“The St. Andrew Central Police has an ongoing effort to clamp down on the illegal market for the sale of stolen items and the arrests of the culprits. Persons who may have had their houses broken into or who were robbed need to make official reports to the police so that persons can be charged when these items are recovered,” said Marlon Nesbeth, Senior Superintendent – St. Andrew Central Division.
