March 24, 2021–The St. Andrew North Police arrested and charged 23-year-old Ramon Williams, unemployed of Orchard Farm, Spanish Town, St. Catherine with the Murder of his 62-year-old grandfather Kenneth Andrews otherwise called ‘Oh Lord’, a farmer of Ogle district, Lawrence Tavern in St. Andrew following a dispute on Sunday, February 07, 2021.
Reports from the Constant Spring Police are that sometime on the mentioned date the accused was at his grandfather’s house when an argument developed during which the accused used an iron to hit the now deceased in his head, tied his hands behind his back then buried him in the backyard. The accused then left the area without saying anything.
On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 after a missing persons report was made, the police acting on information arrested the accused who confessed to killing his grandfather.
He was officially charged on Monday, March 22, 2021 after a question and answer interview in the presence of his lawyer.
His court date is being finalised.
