March 26, 2025- The curfew imposed within the St. Andrew South Division has been extended. The curfew began at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, and will remain in effect until 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
East– An imaginary line at Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue traveling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive
South– An imaginary line from the coastline at Marcus Garvey Drive vicinity East Avenue to Duhaney River
West– An imaginary line from the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbour
North– An imaginary line from the Happy Grove community drawn to the Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue intersection following the divisional boundary.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorized by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
