April 20, 2021 –The St. James Police have arrested and charged 29-year-old Decardo Thorpe, otherwise called ‘Shane’, of John’s Hall district in St. James with Illegal Possession of Firearm in connection with an incident in his community on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Reports from the Police are that about 10:45 a.m., a police team stopped and searched a motor vehicle driven by Thorpe. During the search, one Hi-Point semi-automatic firearm was found inside a bag.
Thorpe was charged on Monday, April 19 following an interview.
His court date is being finalized.
