March 24, 2021 –The Clarendon Police have charged 23-year-old Michael Bailey of Rocky Point, Clarendon with Wounding with Intent and Illegal Possession of Firearm in connection with an incident at the Rocky Point Beach in the parish on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
Reports from the Rocky Point Police are that about 9:00 p.m., Bailey allegedly attacked the complainant—who was sitting in a shed—and fired several shots at him, injuring him. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
On Monday, March 15, 2021, Bailey was arrested in his community on warrant and later charged following an interview.
His court date is being finalised.
