April 15, 2021- Twenty-one-year-old Kimani Jenkins of New Hope district, Westmoreland is facing several charges under the Larceny Act following an incident in Grant Bush district, Little London, Westmoreland on Wednesday, February 3.
Reports are that about 5:30 p.m., the complainant locked the premises and left, upon her return she discovered that the house was broken into and several items including a black Imperial flat screen television and one black Gateway Laptop were stolen. The matter was reported to the Police and following investigations Jenkins was apprehended and interviewed. He admitted to committing the crime and handed over the television and the laptop.
Jenkins has been charged with House Breaking, Larceny and Receiving Stolen Property. His court date is being finalized.
