BUILDING CONFIDENCE & CREDIBILITY THROUGH COMMUNICATIONS
The Constabulary Communications Network (CCN), formerly known as the Police Information Center (PIC) or Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), was established in 1976 during a state of emergency to enhance crime reporting and ensure accurate communication beyond media capabilities.
As the official communications arm of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), CCN is dedicated to building confidence and credibility through communication. It plays a vital role in shaping public perception and fostering trust in the JCF by maintaining a 24/7 engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
In 2023, CCN played a pivotal role in the JCF’s historic Marketing Excellence award win from the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce—the first-ever nomination and victory for a law enforcement agency. This recognition highlighted the JCF’s innovative digital engagement and strategic use of social media in transforming stakeholder communication.
