The Kingston Central Police seized two firearms and arrested and charged a male and a female with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition in two separate incidents on Tuesday, May 11.
Reports are that about 9:40 a.m., lawmen carried out an operation at a premises on Gold Street in the parish and one Beretta 9mm pistol was seized. Forty-four-year-old Nichola Boyd otherwise called ‘Nicky’, a bartender of the said address was taken into custody; she was later charged and awaits her court date.
Later that morning, another operation was carried out about 11:30 a.m. at a premises on Water Lane. One Introtech 9mm pistol was seized. Nathaniel Williams otherwise called ‘Bimmer Lip’ of Rose Marie Lane in the parish was arrested and charged.
His court date is being finalised.
