Thirty-two-year-old Adam Williams of Mount Pellier, Sandy Bay in Hanover, has been slapped with several charges following an incident on Barnes Lane in his community on Friday, September 20.
Williams is charged with Shooting with Intent, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Using a Firearm to Commit a Felony.
Reports from the Lucea Police are that at about 7:20 a.m., Williams and his accomplices allegedly pounced upon two men as they were walking along the roadway and opened gunfire at them. The two men managed to escape unhurt and made a report to the police.
Following several investigative leads, sleuths identified Williams as a suspect and arrested him at his home on Saturday, November 02. He was subsequently charged and is awaiting the finalisation of his court date to answer to the charges.
