FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZED IN CLARENDON

The Clarendon Police seized one Browning 9mm pistol fitted with a magazine containing thirteen 9mm rounds of ammunition during an operation in York Town in the parish on Monday, December 23.

Reports from the May Pen Police are that at about 4:45 p.m., lawmen were on patrol in the area
when two men were seen sitting under a tree along the roadway. Upon the approach of the police, the men started acting in manner that arouses their suspicion. The men were accosted and search and the firearm remove from a one strap bag one of the men were carrying.
Both men were taken into custody pending further investigations.
