19-YEAR-OLD FARMER FACES MULTIPLE CHARGES

Nineteen-year-old Renaldo Dixon, a farmer of Haughton district, St. Elizabeth, has been arrested and charged with Wounding with Intent and Robbery with Aggravation after he attacked a man in his community on Friday, August 15.

Reports from the Lacovia Police are that at about 9:30 a.m., Dixon approached a man and demanded that he buy him a drink. The man refused, and Dixon used a piece of board to hit the man to the head, which caused a wound that bled. Dixon then proceeded to rob the man of his money. The man was assisted to the hospital, where he was treated and released. The incident was later reported, and Dixon was subsequently arrested and charged.

His court date is being finalised.
