Assault at Common Law and Possession of Prohibited Weapon charges have been laid against 32-year-old Anthony Lindo a painter of St Benedict’s Heights, Harbour View, Kingston 17 following an incident along Stella Road, Kingston 17 on Wednesday, January 17.
Reports are that about 4:30 p.m., during a dispute with a man Lindo pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at him. He went further threatened the man and ordered him to leave and not return to the area.
A report was made to the police following which Lindo was taken into custody and subsequently charged on Monday, January 22.
A court date is being finalised.
