48-HOUR CURFEWS HAVE BEEN IMPOSED IN SEVERAL SECTIONS OF THE ST MARY POLICING DIVISION

48-hour curfews have been imposed in several sections of the St. Mary Policing Division. The curfews commenced at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

Free Hill, Oxford, and Geddes Town, St Mary.

North: From the Cross Road in Top Oxford, the boundary runs north to the fording at Kampla Drive in the Tyall Housing Scheme.

East: From the Geddes Town and Sand Hill intersection to the Cross Road in Top Oxford.

South: From the Free Hill and Oxford roadway intersection to the intersection of Geddes Town and Sand Hill.

West: Starting at the fording on Kampla Drive in the Tyall Housing Scheme, to the intersection of the Free Hill and Oxford roadways.

Robins Bay and Nutfield, St Mary

North: From Nutfield along an imaginary line to Strawberry Field.

East: From Strawberry Field along an imaginary line to Robins Bay Square.

South: From Robins Bay Square to a heavily vegetated area at the upper section of Robins Bay.

West: From the upper section of Robins Bay along an imaginary line to a vegetated area of Nutfield.

Boscobel and Stewart Town, St Mary

North: Starting at Point A, located at the entrance, to the old Main Road along the A3, the boundary runs east along an imaginary line to Point B, located in a section of Boscobel in the vicinity of Seclusion Beach.

East: From Point B, the boundary runs south along an imaginary line to Point C, located in a vegetated area of Gully Road.

South: From Point C, the boundary runs west along an imaginary line to Point D, located in a heavily vegetated area of Boscobel.

West: From Point D, the boundary runs north along an imaginary line, returning to Point A at the entrance to the old Main Road along the A3, completing the curfew perimeter.

During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authourised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
