The Trelawny Police have arrested and charged three men following a vehicular search along Salt Marsh main road in Trelawny on Wednesday, May 19.
Charged are 31-year-old Conrad Johnson of Eltham district, Ocho Rios, 25-year-old Dickoy Robinson, and 21-year-old Travis Robinson of Steer Town in St. Ann with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition.
Reports from the Falmouth Police are that at about 8:05 p.m., the police signaled a Suzuki Swift motorcar driven by Johnson to stop in which he complied. During the search of the motor vehicle, one Uzi submachine gun containing a magazine and fourteen 9mm rounds of ammunition were found.
On Friday, May 21, all three men were charged following an interview.
Their court dates are being finalised.
