Detectives assigned to the Portmore Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) arrested and charged 20-year-old Miguel Tracy, otherwise called ‘Car Boss’, for the Murder of 50-year-old Dina Griffiths which was committed along Long Lane, Portmore Villa, in St. Catherine on Friday, February 03, 2023.
Tracy was also charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition.
Reports are that about 9:00 a.m., Tracy and another man pounced upon Griffiths and opened gunfire at her. She was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
On Thursday, January 5, 2024, about 2:00 p.m., Tracy was arrested and charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
His court date is being finalized.
