Thirty-three-year-old Diego Sybliss, a mason of Nova Close, Gregory Park in St. Catherine was arrested and charged following the shooting death of 30-year-old Dwayne Ferguson along Nightingale Grove, Farm Road in the parish on Friday, September 1, 2023.
Sybliss was charged with murder, being in possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of a mmunition.
Reports from the Portmore Police are that about 8:30 p.m., Sybliss used a female to lured Ferguson to the mentioned location where he shot and killed him. Ferguson’s body was stumbled upon by residents the police summoned. The body was removed to the hospital where death was confirmed.
On Wednesday January 17, Sybliss was arrested in the Manchester Police Division. He subsequently gave a caution statement in the presence of his attorney where he was subsequently charged on Saturday, January 20.
His court date is being finalized.
