Westmoreland Man Charged with Multiple Charges

Twenty-nine-year-old Odane Samuels otherwise called “Alwayne” of Dalling Street, Savanna-La-Mar has been charged with murder, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Using a Firearm to commit a Felony following an incident on September 14, 2023.

Deceased is thirty-seven-year-old Glenroy McNaughton Chef of Darliston.

Reports are that around 8:40 p.m. McNaughton was at a bar when the accused and another man drove up on a motorcycle. They were both armed and opened fire on McNaughton who was shot in his head. Samuels and his accomplice escaped on the motorcycle. The police were alerted and upon their arrival they assisted McNaughton to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 10:43 p.m.

Samuels was later charged on Tuesday August 13^th.

A court date is being arranged.
