St. Ann Woman Charged with Embezzlement

Detectives assigned to the St. Ann Police Division are probing the circumstances that led to the stabbing death of 38-year-old Joseph Baker, a farmer of Cowley, St. Ann within his community on Sunday, October 06.

Reports from the Claremont Police are that about 8:00 p.m., Baker was walking along the roadway when he was attacked by a man, who stabbed Baker to the left of his chest and escaped in the area. The police were summoned and Baker was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

As the investigation continues, detectives are urging the suspect to turn himself in at the nearest police station immediately.
