ST THOMAS MAN CHARGED WITH BURGLARY IN ST ANN
Thirty-eight-year-old Kemar York, a labourer of Llandewey, St. Thomas has been charged with Burglary and Wounding with Intent following an incident in Farm Town, Discovery Bay, St. Ann on Saturday, October 5.
Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police are that at about 3:25 a.m., a woman securely locked up her house and retired to bed. She was awoken by the sounds of someone kicking from her front door. York entered the woman’s house and used a knife to stab her on her right thigh. She started to tussle with York when a relative came to her rescue along with other persons in the community. York also received stab wounds during the attack. The police was called and both injured persons were taken to the hospital where they were treated.
York was subsequently charged. His court date is being finalized.
