Kingston Man Charged with Robbery with Aggravation

KINGSTON MAN CHARGED WITH ROBBERY WITH AGGRAVATION

Twenty-nine-year-old Dwayne Barrett, a spray painter of Jackson road, Kingston 10 was charged with Robbery with Aggravation following an incident that occurred along the roadway in the vicinity of Tarrant High School on Saturday, October 19.

Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that the complainant was walking with his friends when they were pounced upon by a group men armed with machetes, knives and scissors. They proceeded to rob them of their property before attempting to escape. Barrett was intercepted by the police and was pointed out by one of the victims.

He was later arrested and subsequently charged after a question and answer session on Monday, October 21, 2024 in the presence of his attorney. His court date is being finalised.
