SECURITY GUARD CHARGED WITH SHOPBREAKING AND LARCENY
The St. Mary Police charged 38-year-old Ramonda Beecher otherwise called ‘Rome’ a security officer— who is of no fixed address—with shop breaking and larceny in relation to an incident on a plaza in Highgate in the parish on Tuesday, November 5.
Reports from the Port Maria Police are that at about 5:30 p.m., a man locked his business establishment and left. Upon his return, he realized that a glass window was smashed. Checks were made within the store and he found out a number of cellular phones were missing to from the store. A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched.
During the investigation, Beecher was arrested. He was charged for the offence on Friday, November 9.
His court date has not been finalised.
