The St. Catherine South Police have charged three men for several offences
following the assault of a 14-year-old girl at a house in St. Catherine on Wednesday, February 5.

Charged are:
• Nineteen-year-old Romaine Sherly, otherwise called ‘Six’ and ‘TJ’, of Dupont Avenue,
Kingston 20.
• Twenty-one-year-old Robert Scott, otherwise called ‘Sinnanick’ and ‘Nick’, of Phoenix
Park, St. Catherine and
• Twenty-year-old Ackeem William, otherwise called ‘Tippy’, also of Phoenix Park, St.
Catherine.

Reports from the lawmen are that at about midnight, the men met the complainant and invited her
to the house, which was being operated as a rental property. It is alleged that the men gave her a
pill to take, after which they sexually assaulted her and videotaped the act.
A report was subsequently made to the police and an investigation launched. The men were
pointed out during an identification parade and later charged with:
1.Rape
2.Grievous Sexual Assault
3.Sexual Touching of a Child
4.Unlawful Detention with intention to commit Grievous Sexual Assault
5.Producing Child Pornography
6.Possession of Child Pornography with the Intention to Distribute
7.Unlawful Detention with Intent to Commit Sexual Intercourse
8.Conspiracy to Rape
9.Conspiracy to Commit Grievous Sexual Assault
10.Procuring Violation of Person Threats of Administering Drugs
11.Administering Drug with the intent to Commit Undetectable Offence

Their court dates are being finalised.
