ST. ANN MAN CHARGED WITH HOUSE-BREAKING AND LARCENY
Sleuths assigned to the St. Ann Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) have charged 21-year-old Rohando Bryan, otherwise called ‘Jason,’ of Mile End, Top Mountain in the parish, with House-breaking and Larceny following an incident in his community on Wednesday, February 19.
Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that at about 6:15 a.m., a woman securely locked her house and left for work. Upon returning home at about 7:55p.m., the woman discovered that her house had been broken into. She made checks and saw that her bedroom window was open and her necklace valued at $20,000 was missing.
She made a report to the police, and an investigation was launched.
Bryan was arrested on Tuesday, February 25, as he reportedly tried to sell the necklace to a jeweller. He was subsequently charged for the offences.
