GANJA INFUSED CANDIES SEIZED IN TOWER ISLE, ST. MARY
A targeted operation conducted by members of the St Mary Division, in collaboration with the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID), led to the seizure of a significant amount of illegal cannabis-infused products at a residence in Tower Isle, St Mary on Wednesday, April 30.
Reports are that at about 5:00 a.m., Lawmen acting on information searched a two-bedroom house and discovered a significant assortment of cannabis-laced items.
Among the items seized were:
- 200 cannabis-infused gummies
- 17 sugarcane candies labelled “High Vibes”
- Several packets of edible cannabis products including “Needs” gummies
- 9 packets and 11 cups of compressed ganja strains
- 7 saucers containing loose ganja
- Bottles and containers of rum infused with ganja
- A packet of cannabis-infused Tic Tacs
- One (1) packet labelled “Island Spice Hot Wing Sauce” infused with cannabis
One person was taken into custody in connection with the find.
This successful raid underscores the commitment of the Jamaica Constabulary Force to disrupting the illicit drug trade and ensuring the safety and well-being of communities across the island.
