FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZED IN ST ANN
Two firearms and several rounds of ammunition were seized by the police in Roaring River district, Steer Town, St. Ann, on Thursday, July 03.
Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police are that at about 10:00 p.m., lawmen on a joint police-military operation conducted a search at an abandoned shop in the area. During the search, a Smith & Wesson pistol along with a magazine containing fifteen 9mm rounds, as well as a Taurus 9mm pistol and six 9mm rounds, was found on a motor vehicle rim.
Ten men were taken into custody; however, their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
