WESTMORELAND BUSINESS MAN IMPLICATED IN ST. THOMAS WOUNDING INCIDENT
The St. Thomas Police arrested and charged 51-year-old business man Sheldon Harris of Norman Manley, Boulevard, Negril, Westmoreland with Unlawful Wounding, following an incidents in Dumfries St. Thomas on Friday, July 11.
Reports from the Morant Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are that at about 8:15p.m., Harris who was attending an event in the parish, got into an altercation with a male patron. The argument got physical and Harris used his hand to hit the complainant in his head, causing a wound that bled.
The man was assisted to hospital where he was treated and released. Following a report to the police, Harris was sought and arrested. He was officially charged on Sunday, July 13.
His court date is being finalised.
