AK-47 RIFLE FOUND IN KINGSTON 11
Sleuths attached to the St. Andrew South Policing Division seized one AK-47 rifle and a magazine containing four 7.62 cartridges during a cordon and search operation on Varma Road in Kingston 11 on Monday, August 25.
Reports from the Olympic Gardens Police are that at about 8:30a.m., the lawmen were on Varma Road when a barber shop was searched. The lawmen extended the search to the roof of the structure, and the firearm was discovered wrapped in a black and yellow sweatpants.
No one was arrested for the seizure.
The investigation is ongoing.
