MANCHESTER MAN FACES MULTIPLE CHARGES

Twenty-two-year-old Patrick Sewell of George North district, Manchester, has been charged with Office Breaking and Larceny (2 counts) and Malicious Destruction of Property following separate incidents in Spaulding Clarendon between Friday, August 15, and Saturday, August 23.

Reports from the Spaulding Police are that on two separate occasions, Sewell gained entry to a business establishment that was securely locked and stole a total of $111,580 JMD, a charger and an earpod valued at $4,300 JMD. Sewell also damaged equipment with a total value of $210,000 JMD. The incidents were reported to the police, and a review of surveillance footage incriminated Sewell. He was apprehended by the police on Saturday, August 23.

Sewell was remanded in custody and was officially charged on Saturday, August 30, after a question and answer session in the presence of two justices of the peace.

A court date for him is being finalised.
