WEB DEVELOPER CHARGED WITH WOMEN’S WOUNDING

The Kingston West Police have charged a web developer with Unlawful Wounding following an incident on Benin Close, Arnett Gardens, Kingston 12, on Friday, August 29.

He is 43-year-old Mark Locke of Benin Close, Arnett Gardens, Kingston 12.

Reports from the Denham Town Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are that on the aforementioned date at about 7:00a.m., Locke and a woman were at home when an argument developed. During the fracas, Locke used a glass teacup to hit the woman in the back of her head, causing a wound that bled.

The woman contacted a relative who came to her aid. The relative also got into an altercation with Locke and was later hit in the face with an object, causing her face to bleed. Both women were assisted to hospital, where they were treated and released.

A report was later made to the police, and Locke was subsequently arrested and charged.

His court date is being finalised.
