SEIZURE OF PROHIBITED FIREARM AND UNAUTHORIZED AMMUNITION – KINGSTON WESTERN DIVISION
On Friday, October 17, 2025 between the period of 3:40pm and 5:30pm members of the Criminal Investigation Branch in the Kingston Western Division seized one (1) Bersa Tunder 9mm pistol along with four (4) 9mm cartridges. The weapon was seized in a section of an open lot along Asquith Street.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Branch were conducting CIB Blitz Operation across the Division when they acted on information and conducted a snap raid in a section of an open lot along Asquith Street where one (1) Bersa Thunder 9mm pistol serial No. 779892 loaded with a magazine containing four (4) 9mm cartridges was found.
No arrest has been made in connection with the seizure thus far.
