WOMAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MURDER OF A 14-YEAR-OLD IN KINGSTON 11

A 25-year-old woman has been charged with Accessory Before the Fact and Accessory After the Fact to Murder following the murder of 14-year-old Terona Thomas, otherwise called ‘Tee-Tee’, a student of Cinnamon Crescent in Kingston 11. The incident occurred at Hill Avenue, also in Kingston 11, on Thursday, April 17.

Charged is Daniela Morrison, a contractor of Waltham Park Road in Kingston 11.

Reports from the Olympic Gardens Police are that Morrison and a man rented a silver Nissan Note motor car to carry out the attack. On Thursday, April 17, at about 1:50 p.m., the armed man travelled to the location where he opened fire on a group of people, hitting Thomas and two others before escaping into the area. The police were summoned, and the injured persons were assisted to the hospital, where Thomas was pronounced dead. The other men were admitted for treatment.

Following the incident, Morrison allegedly retrieved the car from the man and returned it. Morrison was later formally charged following a case review.

The investigations continue as detectives from the St. Andrew South Division pursue other suspects connected to the incident.
