
GRAPHIC DESIGNER CHARGED WITH HOUSEBREAKING AND LARCENY IN ST. THOMAS
The Morant Bay Police have charged 22-year-old Carlito Montgomery, a graphic designer of Pondside district, Yallahs, St. Thomas, with Housebreaking and Larceny following an incident that occurred sometime between Saturday, September 20, and Saturday, September 27.
Reports are that during the mentioned period, Montgomery reportedly cut open the ceiling of a storeroom belonging to the complainant. He gained entry and stole several items, these include twelve(12) rolls of carpet grass valued at approximately $12,000 USD, eight(8) ten-foot galvanised pipes valued at $20,000 JMD, and four (4) fifteen-foot galvanised pipes valued at $14,000 JMD. The matter was reported to the police.
Following investigations, Montgomery was later arrested and formally charged after he confessed to committing the crime.
His court date is being finalised.
