THREE IN CUSTODY FOLLOWING FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZURE IN WESTMORELAND
A woman is among three persons who were taken into custody following the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition in Farm Pen district, Westmoreland, on Saturday, November 22.
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., lawmen conducted an operation at an address in the area. A search of the premises led to the discovery of a HS 2000 9mm pistol with an affixed magazine containing twelve 9mm rounds beneath a pillow on a bed.
The firearm was seized and the three were taken into custody. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
