
ST. JAMES CAR DEALER CHARGED FOLLOWING BREACHES OF THE FIREARMS ACT
A car dealer of Latium district, Lottery, St. James, has been charged with Possession of a Firearm with intent to Injure, Discharge of a Firearm in Any Place, Using a Firearm to Commit a Felony and Shooting with Intent following an incident in his community on Sunday, November 02.
Charged is 27-year-old Adeno McIntosh, otherwise called ‘Baba.’
Reports from the Montego Bay Police are that at about 1:00 p.m., McIntosh brandished a firearm and opened gunfire at a woman he had an argument with. The woman managed to escape unhurt, after which she made an alarm and was rescued by relatives. Following the incident, McIntosh fled the scene.
A report was later made to the police, and an investigation was launched into the matter. McIntosh was taken into custody during an intelligence-led operation on Friday, November 28, and was subsequently charged.
A court date is being finalised for him.
