
48-HOUR CURFEW IMPOSED IN RIVOLI/WATERLOO SPANISH TOWN, ST CATHERINE
A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the Rivoli/Waterloo community of Spanish Town, St. Catherine. The curfew will begin at 6:00 p.m., on Monday, December 08, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 10.
The areas of the curfew are as follows:
North: From the intersection of Martin Street and Brunswick Avenue traveling eastwardly along an imaginary line to a vegetated area at the Rio Cobre River above Kent Street.
East: From the vegetated area at the Rio Cobre River above Kent Street traveling along an imaginary line to a vegetated area at the Rio Cobre River above Monk Street in the vicinity of the St. Jago High School.
South: From the vegetated area at the Rio Cobre River above Monk Street in the vicinity of the St. Jago High School traveling along an imaginary line to White Church Street in the vicinity of the St. Catherine District Prison.
West: From the ending of the southern boundary at White Church Street in the vicinity of the St. Catherine District Prison traveling along an imaginary line to the beginning of the northern boundary at the intersection of Martin Street and Brunswick Avenue.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
