
CONSTRUCTION WORKER CHARGED WITH FRAUDULENT CONVERSION
Fifty-four-year-old Courtney Palmer, a construction worker of Top Road, Browns Town, St. Ann, has been charged with Fraudulent Conversion following an incident that took place between June 2025 and September 2025.
Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police are that Palmer was hired to do construction work on a property in Drax Hall, St. Ann. Palmer was given a sum of about JMD $360,000.00 to purchase materials needed for the construction process. It was further reported that checks were made at the property, and the construction material was not seen at the property. A report was made to the police, and an investigation was launched.
Palmer was subsequently arrested and charged after it was confirmed that he used the money for personal gain.
His court date is being finalised.
