AMMUNITION SEIZED IN KINGSTON
Lawmen assigned to the Kingston Central Policing Division seized a magazine containing eight 9mm rounds of ammunition during an operation on Hanover Street in the parish on Saturday, January 10.
Reports are that between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., the police were conducting a search of a premises when they observed a loose brick at a section of the wall. On closer inspection the magazine and ammunition were discovered in a bag concealed within the wall. No arrests were made in relation to the seizure.
An investigation is underway.
