
WESTMORELAND MAN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE GUN RELATED OFFENCES
Twenty-nine-year-old Skywaynie Robinson, otherwise called ‘Bazzel,’ a labourer of Miller Hill, Berkshire district, Westmoreland, has been charged with multiple firearm-related offences following an incident at a business establishment in the parish on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that at about 11:00 p.m., Robinson was at a bar when an argument developed after the proprietor requested that payment be made before additional drinks were served. During the dispute, Robinson allegedly issued threats and brandished a handgun. He was then escorted from the premises by other patrons, and while outside, he discharged two rounds into the air before leaving in a motor vehicle.
The incident was reported to the police, and a statement was recorded. Following investigation, Robinson was apprehended during a police operation in his community on Monday, January 12. He was subsequently charged with:
· Assault at Common Law
· Using a Firearm to Commit a Schedule Offence
· Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Injure
· Discharge of a Firearm in Any Place
His court date is being finalised.
