48-HOUR CURFEWS EXTENDED IN SECTIONS OF ST ANDREW NORTH
The 48-hour curfews imposed in sections of the St. Andrew North Policing Division have been extended. The curfews will continue from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17.
The boundaries of the curfews are as follows:
BROOKS LEVEL AND AIRY CASTLE COMMUNITIES
North – From 19 Golden Spring road, St. Andrew within the imaginary line across Brooks Level road to the intersection of Airy Castle road and Bowden Hill road.
East – From the intersection of Airy Castle road and Bowden Hill road to the intersection of Airy Castle Drive and Lipscombe Avenue about 789 metres
South- From the intersection of Airy Castle Drive and Lipscombe Avenue to the intersection of Stony Hill road and Seaview road.
West – From the intersection of Stony Hill road and Seaview road to 19 Golden Spring Road, St. Andrew
PARK LANE AND 100 LANE, RED HILLS ROAD, KINGSTON 19
North – From the intersection of Red Hills Road and Pennant Terrace to the intersection of Pennant Drive and Pennant Terrace.
East – Along Pennant Drive from the intersection with Pennant Terrace to the intersection with Whitehall Avenue.
South – Along Whitehall Avenue from the intersection with Pennant Drive to the intersection with Red Hills Road.
West – Along Red Hills Road from the intersection with Whitehall Avenue to the intersection with Pennant Terrace.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authourised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
