48-HOUR CURFEW IMPOSED IN SECTIONS OF THE MANCHESTER POLICING DIVISION

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the Manchester Policing Division to include the communities of Comfort Hall, Auctembeddie, Epping Forest, Evergreen, and Oxford. The curfew began at 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday, February 04, and will remain in effect until 7:10 p.m. on Friday, February 06.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: From an area of vegetation at the northern boundary along an imaginary line to an area of vegetation at the eastern boundary. This boundary is bordered by Breeze Hole district.

East: From an area of vegetation at the northern boundary to an area of vegetation at the southern boundary. Bordered by Waterloo district.

South: From an area of vegetation at the eastern boundary along an imaginary line to another area of vegetation at the western boundary. This area is bordered by Comfort Hall.

West: From the southern boundary along an imaginary line to a vegetated area at the northern boundary. This area is bordered by Evergreen to Rose’s Valley.

A 48-hour curfew has also been imposed in other sections of the Manchester Policing Division. This curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 04, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 06.

The affected communities include:

Brokenhurst, Old England, Barnstable, May Day, Albion, Green Street, Tulsa Road, Hillside, Sunset, Inverness Waltham and Cedar Grove, Heartease, New Hall, Patrick Town Ellen Street and Knockpatrick.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: From the roadway at Manchester Road at the northern boundary, along an imaginary line to an area of vegetation on the eastern boundary. This boundary is bordered by the Heartease district.

East: From the vegetated area on the northern boundary, along an imaginary line to a section of roadway at Patrick Town on the southern boundary. This boundary is bordered by the Edgeware and Patrick Town districts.

South: From the roadway at Patrick Town on the southern boundary along an imaginary line to a section of the roadway at Belt Line district on the western boundary. This boundary is bordered by Ellen Street.

West: From a section of the roadway at Belt Line District at the western boundary along an imaginary line to an area of vegetation on the northern boundary. This boundary is bordered by the Inverness district and Knock Patrick districts.

During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
