48-HOUR CURFEW IMPOSED IN SECTIONS OF COTTAGE, MANCHESTER

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Cottage in Manchester. The curfew will commence at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, and will remain in effect until 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

NORTH: From an area of vegetation at the northern boundary, continuing 3400 meters along an imaginary line, to an area of vegetation at the eastern boundary. This boundary is bordered by Breeze Hole district.

EAST: From an area of vegetation at northern boundary, continuing 5190 meters to an area vegetation at the southern boundary. This boundary is bordered by Waterloo district.

SOUTH: From an area of vegetation at the eastern boundary, continuing 4100 meters along an imaginary line to another area of vegetation at the western boundary. This boundary is bordered by Comfort Hall district.

WEST: From the southern boundary, continuing 5000 meters along an imaginary line to a vegetated area at the northern boundary. This boundary runs from Evergreen district to Rose’s Valley district.

 

During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authourised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
