
SEVEN CHARGED FOLLOWING FIREARM AND AMMUNITION SEIZURE IN HANOVER
Detectives assigned to the Hanover Policing Division have formally charged seven persons, including four females, with Possession of Prohibited Weapon and Unauthorised Possession of Ammunition following a firearm seizure along Willie Delliser Boulevard in Lucea, Hanover, on Friday, February 13.
Charged are:
- Sixty-three-year-old Lowny Keane, a sub-contractor of Glades district, Caymanas Bay, St. Catherine.
- Twenty-eight-year-old Brenton Hector, otherwise called ‘Cone Head,’ or ‘Reno,’ a mechanic of Old Harbour Road, St. Catherine.
- Twenty-seven-year-old Antoine Allison, otherwise called ‘Meegus,’ a welder of Ruby Close, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
- Twenty-one-year-old Vicararose Williams-Allison, otherwise called ‘Vikki,’ of Ruby Close, Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
- Thirty-seven-year-old Krystal Massop, a plaster painter of Bellaire, Church Hill, St. Ann.
- Forty-two-year-old Tanesha Evely of Bellaire, Church Hill, St. Ann, and
- Forty-year-old Rashana Massop, a hairdresser of a Kingston address.
Reports from the Lucea Police are that at about 11:20 p.m., a team of officers were in the area when a black Toyota Voxy motorcar driven by Keane, was signalled to stop. The vehicle was searched along with its seven occupants, during the search, one .38 Smith & Wesson Revolver along with six .38 cartridges was found inside a bag. All seven persons were taken into custody and charged with the mentioned offences on Saturday, February 14.
Their court date is being finalised.
