CLARENDON WOMAN CHARGED WITH WOUNDING WITH INTENT

Lawmen assigned to the Clarendon Policing Division have charged a thirty-three-year-old woman with Wounding with Intent following an incident in the Bucknor District, Clarendon, on Sunday, March 22.

The accused is Samoya Rose of Baileys Avenue, May Pen, Clarendon.

Reports from the May Pen Police indicate that, at about 3:00 a.m., Rose was involved in an altercation with another woman when a man intervened. Rose reportedly used an object to stab the man in the abdomen. The man was assisted to the hospital for treatment. A report was made, and Rose was later arrested and charged.

She is scheduled to appear before the May Pen Parish Court on Thursday, March 26.
