48-HOUR CURFEW IMPOSED IN SECTIONS OF THE KINGSTON WESTERN POLICING DIVISION

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the Kingston Western Policing Division. The curfew takes effect at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North – Along Rousseau Road from Maxfield Avenue to Lincoln Crescent.

East – Along Lincoln Crescent from Rousseau Road to Greenwich Road, then along Greenwich

Street to Nathan Street.

South – Along Nathan Street from Greenwich Street to Maxfield Avenue.

West – Along Maxfield Avenue from Nathan Street to Rousseau Road.  

 

During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authourised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
